Precision cutting. Clean results.
This ISO30 ER32 Tool Holder is built for secure, high-precision tool clamping in CNC routers and machining applications. With an ISO30 taper, ER32 collet interface, and capacity for tools up to 19 mm (3/4") shank diameter, it gives you the flexibility to run a wide range of routing, drilling and milling tools with confidence.
Its 45 mm projection suits a broad mix of cutting tasks, while precision balancing for spindle speeds up to 30,000 RPM helps maintain smooth, stable running. With runout held to less than 0.0025 mm (0.0001"), this holder is engineered to minimise vibration, protect cutting tools, and support clean machining results across wood, plastics and aluminium work.

Key benefits
Excellent accuracy with runout below 0.0025 mm helps improve finish quality, reduce chatter and extend tool life.
Strong retention and rigidity from the ISO30 taper and included HSD pull stud helps keep the holder secure under cutting load.
Wide tooling compatibility with ER32 collets lets you clamp many common shank sizes up to 19 mm (3/4").
Built for high speed and balanced for up to 30,000 RPM for smoother machining and better spindle performance.
Ideal for sign making, woodworking and aluminium routing where dependable concentricity and repeatable clamping matter.

20CrMnTi material composition and protective treatment balance
This holder is made from 20CrMnTi alloy steel, a high-quality low-carbon alloy carburizing steel used for precision transmission parts and demanding mechanical components. It is well suited to tool holders because it offers an excellent balance of wear resistance, hardenability, toughness and dimensional stability.
Iron (Fe) balance — the main body of the steel, providing core structural strength
Chromium + Manganese — improve hardenability, strength and wear performance
Carbon + Silicon + trace Titanium — contribute to hardness response, structure and refinement
Protective finishing system — blackening, nitriding, nickel plating and related anti-rust treatments
Fe balance ≈ 96.37%
Cr ≈ 1.15%
Mn ≈ 0.95%
Si ≈ 0.275%
C ≈ 0.20%
Ti ≈ trace (illustrative)
20CrMnTi is well regarded for its high hardenability, good wear resistance, toughness and low deformation, which makes it a strong choice for precision tool holding components. After appropriate carburizing, quenching and tempering, it can deliver a hard wear-resistant surface with a tougher core — exactly the type of balance needed in a holder that must stay accurate while resisting ongoing clamping and machining stresses.
This gives the holder an excellent strength-to-accuracy-to-rust-prevention balance. The 20CrMnTi base material provides the mechanical performance, while protective surface treatments such as blackening, nitriding and nickel plating help improve corrosion resistance and surface durability in workshop conditions.
Care for maximum longevity
Protective treatments help, but they do not make the holder maintenance-free. For the longest service life, keep the holder dry, clean and lightly oiled. Daily application of a suitable rust-prevention oil is recommended, especially in humid workshops or if the holder is handled regularly.
Wipe away dust, coolant residue and fingerprints after use to prevent moisture and contaminants sitting on the surface.
Apply a light film of rust-proof oil daily if the holder is in regular service or exposed to humid conditions.
Store in a dry location and protect the taper and clamping surfaces from knocks, grit and surface damage.
Professional features
Additionally, this holder is an excellent choice for professional workshops, sign makers, cabinetmakers and serious CNC users who need dependable clamping, repeatable accuracy and long-term service. When paired with quality ER32 collets, it helps maximise spindle performance while supporting clean, controlled machining in demanding day-to-day use.
